Katie Updegraff

Katie joined the Polymer and Food Protection Consortium in 2020 as an undergraduate research assistant, and became a full time staff member after graduating from Iowa State with a Bachelor of Science. She currently works as a project manager communicating with consortium members on project deliverables, timelines, and expectations. Katie also works heavily in the consortium's total fluorine testing lab, using her three years of experience with the technique to supervise all total fluorine and total organic fluorine projects.
